Works beautifully for rolling out dough. Be sure to use the proper side, however. I made the mistake of using the underside at first. A nice big size for all kinds of uses. It might have been nice to have guide dimensions printed on the liner for rolling out pastry.

I haven’t yet used it for baking in the oven, but I will in the future.

I purchased this mat to be put on my brand new $US2,000.00 inductive cook top so the cooktop won’t be scrached from Iron & Baked Enamal Steel pots & pans when we cook. It also looks nice with it’s attractive logo.

I believe that all Demarle products are excellent and in particular the Silpat. I roll my biscuits on it, knead my bread on it, have it rise in the oven or equivalent warm place on it and I could even use it to bake bread rolls on it. It is easy to keep clean i.e. fairy liquid and warm water. It is a superb product.Ingrid
