I find this to lack flavor–surprising, since I like most Betty Crocker products. It is easy to store & prepare, however…and does well when served with a highly-flavored sauce.

This is the easiest cake mix to work with and for whatever reson it is unavailable in my neighborhood. I am very glad I can buy a supply and make exquisite dessert cakes in a matter of minutes.

I thought the pound cake would taste kind of dry.I was supprised when it was really moist.Now that’s a pound cake.

These mixes are nice to have on hand quite easy to make I like to add a little vanilla to the basic mix to intensify the flavor a bit.

It is easy to add other ingredients such as poppy seeds or dried fruit to make flavored pound cakes. This mix is not overly sweet and cakes come out a bit dryer than some. All in all, it makes a pretty decent basic cake
