This book I thought was expensive for what it was and the actual quality of the book was poor.

It is aimed at businesses in the USA and so health rules and regulations are slightly different to our Australian ones.

It is very comprehensive and quite thorough and even includes cake recipes.

It does covers the basic aspects of running a business and gives some very good advice.

This book is very helpful and is a “must have” for someone just starting out in the cake decorating business. I have been operating my business for over a year and although I had aleady figured out most of the contents of this book on my own, I did get several helpful insights. I hesitated to order this book as I thought it was overpriced for a paperback. However as I read “Start a Cake Business Today”, I found that is is jam packed with info. Just learning about the free advertising on the internet is well worth the price! There were some printing problems with a few pages in my copy, but the customer service from the author was outstanding.

I got this book as a gift at my asking. I was hoping that it would help me figure out the final pieces of the cake business puzzle that I had been working on for the past few months. However, it seemed more geared towards the person who decided to start a cake business one day, without any prior experience, research, or knowledge how businesses work.
