A disappointment. A very bland “pound” cake with a little rum flavor. Too bad that the product was not equal to the packaging.

Cake came very fresh and delicious. Only drawback is that it contains partially hydrogenated oils and quite a bit of satuarated fat. If you are a health nut it is not something you want to finish in 2 sittings (which could easily be accomplished). Ok once in a while for something special but not a very healthy dessert.

This rum cake is delicious. I first bought it when I vacationed in the Bahamas and I’ve been hooked since. The cake is delicious with a cup of coffee or with nothing and it’s a very nice dessert to serve to guest.

My husband ordered this since I am especially fond of the booze cakes that are sold at Trader Joe’s during the holidays. It was very moist, appropriately rummed up, and quite good, but there are really easy recipes online for the same cake. From now on, I’ll just make my own.
